How Much Does an Ignition Interlock Device Cost in Palm Beach County?

          If you have been convicted of DUI in Palm Beach County, the cost (plus tax) for you to have an ignition interlock device installed in your car is as follows:

• $12 interlock fee

• $75 installation fee   (But if the judge in your case decides that you can't afford to pay this fee, she can order that part of the fine that you pay in your DUI case be used to cover this fee.)

• $72.50 for monthly monitoring and calibration

• $100 refundable deposit or a $5 monthly insurance charge
